Are you and your team ready to tackle another MUDDY round of the MotoCheapie?!
Race Packs are ready for collection!!
They can be collected Monday-Thursday during normal working hours from 6 Kouga St (https://maps.app.goo.gl/wrLRC1hDwNCkZszd8). If you can’t make a plan to collect during the given time period then send me a message and we’ll make a plan.
Just a few reminders:
- NO! You cannot collect your race packs on the morning!
- NO! You cannot enter another team on the morning!
- NO! Your spectators cannot get set up in the pits; there is a dedicated spectator area.
- YES! You can buy as many spectator tickets as you like.
- YES! Your family can walk through the pits no problem, but nothing extra in the pits! No cars, no riding other bikes, etc.
The packs will contain the following:
1) Your race bands (ORANGE)
2) One complimentary spectator ticket per rider (GREEN)
3) A detailed list of instructions to make the day run as smooth as possible
4) A timetable for the day
5) Pit Vehicle Board (These are to be hung from your rear view mirror and must be returned at the end of race day along with your timing tag)
6) A load of cool stickers!
Laloopies will ensure that you have enough energy to get through the day with their delicious menu and will also be serving coffee this round! We have once again got a beer tent on board, but riders remember NO drinking before the checkered flag drops. The kiddies will be entertained with a 2-in-1 jumping castle/slide.
Knots by Nadja will be selling LulaRoe leggings and all profits thereof will be donated towards the out-of-pocket expenses of a school acquaintance who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Security will be on the premises to make sure the day runs smoothly.
IF YOU ARE NOT WEARING YOUR RACE OR COMPLIMENTARY BAND AT THE GATE YOU WILL BE CHARGED! PLEASE DON’T MAKE US CHARGE YOU A 2ND TIME, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR NOT LISTENING!
For now it seems as though we will be spared of rain leading up to the race but as we all know Cape Town weather is unpredictable!
